Hello Youcef,
I must apologize for this belated reply to your post which I only found tonight.
As you can see, the problem with people who have a one track mind is that they are so obsessed with their own pursuit that they hardly have eyes for anything else!
In any case, I just looked for the
ALBUMS DU PETIT POUSSIN but could only find three of them (see their covers below) :
BONNE NUIT LES PETITS - LA FÊTE A NICOLASBONNE NUIT LES PETITS - NOUNOURS JOUE A CHAT PERCHEBONNE NUIT LES PETITS - NOUNOURS JOUE A CACHE-CACHEThey are related to a very popular children TV program which was broadcast in the sixties (last century):
BONNE NUIT LES PETITS (which can be translated as "Good Night, Kids!").
These books were published in 1965 by Hachette under agreement with the ORTF (i.e. an acronym that was used at the time to name the French TV organisation).
It seems to me that it's not quite unlikely that this short lived book series was turned into another short lived Hachette series:
MON BEL ALBUM HACHETTE which also carried some books with the main character of Nounours:
NOUNOURS AUX SPORTS D'HIVERNOUNOURS PARACHUTISTELE CIRQUE DE NOUNOURSClaude Laydu, the French author who created the character of NOUNOURS ("Teddy Bear" for French Children) was a very prolific writer and his production met with a huge success. NOUNOURS even had his very own magazine:
LE JOURNAL DE NOUNOURS (copies of which you could find on Ebay).
Indeed a large number of BONNE NUIT LES PETITS books was published not only by Hachette but also by Deux Coqs d'Or in what may have been a rival book series
LES ALBUMS D'OR :
NOUNOURS ET CORNICHON
NOUNOURS CHEZ LE COIFFEUR
NOUNOURS A LA MER
NOUNOURS CHEZ LES ABEILLES
(
please note that there could be other books in the three above mentioned series)
To be fair, I'm not in the least familiar with these books but I'm pretty sure that there is a very long way to go for devoted fans of NOUNOURS, such is the extent of the merchandising materials that was sold at the time of his fame.
